Crestron is pleased to announce the huge success of its recent EMEA Masters
Conference, which took place at the Marriot Hotel in Amsterdam from 17-19 May.
The event had a true international flavour with attendees travelling from across the
gIobe to take part. The EMEA Masters Programme is now the largest conference of
its kind with over 150 attendees from 20 countries making the trip to Amsterdam
for 2016.
The Masters Conference offers attendees a unique opportunity to work with the
brightest and most creative minds at Crestron, learn about new technologies, and
gain insights into Crestron’s latest developments and thinking. With a wide choice of
twenty six separate courses, run across fifty nine sessions throughout the three-day
event, attendees are able to take a flexible approach to their learning and
participation.
The event kicked off on Tuesday morning with a breakfast networking session to
greet Crestron Service Providers, integrators and dealers in attendance. Opening
speeches led by Rich Sasson, Crestron Global Director of Technical Services, Randy
Klein, CEO, Robin Van Meeuwen, EMEA CEO and Fred Bargetzi, CTO, formally
launched the Masters Training Programme for 2016. Each speaker welcomed guests
to the event and offered insights into the future of Crestron.
“Crestron will always strive to do the best for all those involved in the Crestron
family and we aim to never let you down. This is why education is so important;
you can’t program or deploy our equipment without it, and with the world of
technology constantly changing, Crestron is keeping up with that pace, and our
training continues to develop and change in line with all this.’ Randy Klein, CEO,
Crestron
Crestron Masters is designed to empower and excite programmers with new
knowledge and skills to continue providing world-class solutions to customers
worldwide. This year’s training sessions included Understanding Crestron Fusion
Cloud Features and Architecture, GeoPresence working with PinPoint and NearField
Technology, Crestron Networking in the
Enterprise, Streaming Products and Fusion. Such was the enthusiasm for these
sessions; many ran at maximum capacity, with one session taking numbers to a
new level with a record 102 people attending.
New additions to this year’s programme included extended opportunities for guests
to network with peers and Crestron employees. The Masters is as much about
collaboration as it is about training, and this year Crestron hosted social events
every evening which included a welcome dinner and drinks, plus a glamorous
evening of entertainment held at Tommy Hilfiger’s European HQ, where the entire
lighting system is Crestron controlled.
The final word goes to Robin Van Meeuwen, EMEA CEO for Crestron, who
commented, “It was incredible to have so many people attend, we are lucky to have
so much continued support including from those who attending our inaugural event
many years ago. I can’t thank our valued customers enough, without them Crestron
would not be the company that it is today.’
