Some of the renowned names in the AV integration and manufacturing industries gathered on 10 February to celebrate talent, engineering skill and creativity across all aspects of the AV industry in the 9th annual InAVation Awards ceremony.
This year’s InAvation Awards ceremony took place at the Gashouder in Amsterdam and the turn-out was an astounding success, hailed by the organisers and attendees. The event kicked off with the Technology Awards recognising the best products, software and tools launched in the last year. This year the InAVation Awards judges had to select finalists from nearly 200 entries. Shortlisted companies went up for a public vote which was weighted in an effort to select the best products. Using a points-based system, votes from technical managers, consultants, end users and integrators scored higher than those from manufacturers or distributors.
Right to the final day of voting there was everything to play for in five categories with four companies as serious contenders for the Large Format Display Award. In the Project Awards we saw strong entries from all corners of the EMEA region. The awards also saw projects entered from beyond EMEA as, for the second year running, an international project was rewarded.
