Southern African Communications Industries Association (SACIA) has announced that
it will be repeating the Broadcast Workflows course. The original course, called the
International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM) Broadcast Workflows
course, was only supposed to be held in June but overwhelming demand has forced
SACIA to repeat the course in July.
“The response to the new IABM Broadcast Workflows course has been phenomenal
and the original course running from 19 to 20 June is now full,’ said Kevan Jones
SACIA’s Executive Director. “In order to accommodate the overflow we have
arranged to repeat the course from 17 to 18 July. I’m expecting that these dates will
also fill up quickly so if you are interested in registering for the course do so
immediately.’
The two day course is aimed at anyone in the Broadcast Technology Industry
needing to understand the full breadth of broadcast workflows. The course will:
• Improve delegates knowledge of the concepts, terms and processes used in
Broadcast Technology.
• Enable delegates to understand the impact of file-based technology on end-
to-end workflows.
• Enable delegates to understand how change in one part of the workflow can
impact all others.
• Give delegates the confidence to discuss and analyse workflows effectively.
• Ensure delegates are better equipped for marketing and selling .
