Sound and Light City Bedfordview, in Johannesburg, recently gave Coconuts Night Club, in Rustenburg, a major sound upgrade by flying FBT speakers reinforced by 18’ subs. The installation included new trussing so the opportunity to upgrade the lighting was recognised.
The installation included FBT Mitus 206, FBT HiMaxX 18″ subs, JBSystems LED Devil II, JBSystems LED Plano Spot, JBSystems Vibe 12, Synq Digit 3K6 Digital Amplifier, JBSystems Lighting, and the cables and fittings.
Winter is generally a slower time in the professional lighting and audio business. Less events, conservative audiences wary of the colder elements, mean that June, July and August are not cold, but quiet as well – making it a perfect time to repair and replace equipment.
