The 2015 World Men’s Handball Championship was the 24th edition of the World
Men’s Handball Championship, organized by the International Handball Federation
(IHF). The final tournament was held for the first time in Qatar, from 15th of
January till the 3rd of February 2015.

France with branches in Qatar and various locations worldwide, conceptualized,
designed and produced festivities in different locations across the city establishing
Qatar as a world class sport hosting country in the region.
SGM’s Middle East distributor, TechnoPro llc, contributed to the success of the event
by providing the technical production with the latest state-of-the-art equipment,
manpower, and system operation in the month long preparation and implementation
of the event.
The Doha Corniche Skyline was illuminated with a dynamic lightshow highlighting
the Doha Skyline with the colours of the celebration.
1000 x SGM LED fixtures were used in the design. 120 x G-Spot, 600 x P-5, 280 x
SixPack were installed on 28 x Litec truss box structures to illuminate various
towers on the 7 km Doha Corniche. The fact that the SGM units being LED fixtures
and IP65 rated, helped running an uninterrupted smooth operation for the full month
duration, regardless of the weather conditions, with a minimal power requirement
while providing unmatchable visual effects.
