“La Voz Mexico” (“The Voice”), one of the highest-rated musical TV shows produced by Televisa recently completed its third season lit by 28 CHAUVET® Professional Nexus™ 4×4 luminaires, which played a prominent role in the show’s lighting design. The colourful stage was the perfect place to enjoy remarkable and exciting interpretations of all the performers, also with different musical styles, such as ballads, pop-rock, folk, and more.
The 2013 Parnelli Award winner for Indispensable Technology in the lighting category, Nexus™ 4×4 by CHAUVET ® Professional, became the “lighting star” of the show, and proved to be the reliable workhorse in a high-demand production, which requires the combination of an experienced technical crew and selected audio, video and lighting equipment.
Nexus™ 4×4 has 16 27-watt RGB COB LEDs and is capable of delivering the sizzle of a pixel mapping display and a robust light output. The combination of COB emitters and the clever reflector design yields a striking, diffused light richly drenched in saturated hues. Nexus™ 4×4 is controllable via Art-Net, Kling-Net and DMX protocols and features interlocking hardware to build large arrays. The Nexus™ 4×4 is a perfect fixture for live events, broadcast, studio, theatre, and touring applications.
A reality television singing competition franchise, “The Voice’ is broadcasted in about 100 countries, with great popularity in the U.S., and is based on the reality singing competition “The Voice of Holland,’ which was originally created by Dutch television producer John de Mol.
