Lucidity, a specialist technical production and equipment rental company, has been focusing on AV and sound for a long time. Recently it made its first lighting purchase with products such as Avolites Tiger Touch, six Robe Pointes and six Robin 300 LEDWash fixtures, as well as data and cabling.
Lucidity prides itself in bringing premium brand products, preferring quality over quantity, and felt it was time to invest in lighting. It needed a fixture that would be adaptable in both the corporate and live event environment.
The new accessories came into use at recent events: the Robe Pointes were used at the Oracle Partner Network Event at Vodaworld, as well as at the South African Institute of International Auditors (SAIIA) Conference and gala dinner for 2 000 guests hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre and at The Crime Stoppers Conference and gala dinner at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, as well as at the Emerald Cup Concert at the Vaal Race Course.
Lucidity has been given positive feedback over venturing into lighting equipment from its recent events, from clients, as well as from colleagues, people in the industry and competitors.
