Rosco has launched a line of four new fog machines designed to meet the demands of a wide variety of applications, from theatrical productions and film sets to photo shoots and training exercises.
The Mini-V is easy to use as well as being the most affordable and compact machine in the series. The Vapour is the workhorse of the new line with features and performance suited to the most demanding professional environments. Designed specifically to fill large venues and outdoor spaces with dense fog and smoke, the Vapour Plus produces a massive amount of fog in a short time. The V-Hazer is a rock solid, quiet and reliable haze generator.
Rosco’s Vapour Series has been carefully engineered to provide professional quality fog and haze while also offering ease of use, reliable performance, and simple maintenance. The Vapour, Vapour Plus, and V-Hazer models have been designed with common components for easy maintenance and serviceability. The remote control, main PCB, and digital DMX interface are interchangeable among all three models. Each core component, including the heat exchanger, is modular for easy service and circuit cards are housed separately for additional protection from accidental fluid leaks. Additionally, all four machines offer an air input connection to simplify cleaning, making repair and maintenance much simpler.
Every model in the Vapour line of machines has been tested for use in professional theatrical productions and is approved for use under the Equipment-Based Guidelines of the Equity-League Pension and Health Trust Funds.
Founded in 1910, Rosco has been a pioneer in fog-machine technology. In 1977, the company introduced a new oil-free fog fluid to the US and developed fog machines designed specifically to work with the new fluid. This innovation earned the company an Academy Award in 1984. Rosco currently offers products in more than a dozen categories which have earned three more Academy Awards and dozens of other industry citations.
