Over the last eighteen months, there has been a lot of talk about the inevitable transformation of the AV Matrix Switch to IP. At ZeeVee, we predicted it over four years ago when we released our first AV over IP product that today stands as the largest challenger to HDbaseT. We were at the forefront again, when we co-founded the SDVoE Alliance two years ago.
Pioneering comes with risk, and not all pioneers make it to the end of their journey. At ZeeVee, the path was sometimes bumpy and the trip arduous, but we were singularly focused on our mission — to reshape AV distribution. Evidence of this sea change is everywhere from the recent replacement of HDbaseT training for SDVoE training at a major AV distributor event to a key industry voice headlining AV over IP in his keynote speeches. Couple these events with a progressive integrator winning an award for using ZeeVee’s SDVoE technology and it is clear that the continued convergence of AV and IT can be seen through the eyes of one our strategic network partners.
