d&b audiotechnik announces its return to the ABTT’s annual theatre show, taking
place in the West Hall at Alexandra Palace from 24th – 25th June. Visitors can
expect to see exciting new products from d&b, including two new amplifiers
developed specifically for installation markets.

At stand A52 the latest amplifiers will be joined by the award winning Y-Series and
the D20 amplifier, recently launched at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt.

On Wednesday 24th at 12:45 in The Roman Room Oran Burns of d&b Education and
Application Support will present “Line arrays unravelled.’ Through practical
demonstration and simulation the seminar will explore line array directivity and
examine some of the pros and cons of using this technology. The session will clarify
commonly misunderstood issues and look at ways to improve performance including
utilizing the ArrayProcessing feature now available in the latest version of the d&b
ArrayCalc simulation software.

On returning to the show Gianni Abruzzese, Commercial Manager for d&b GB,
commented: “As the first loudspeaker manufacturer to exhibit at ABTT we have a
long standing relationship with this event, which we plan to continue long into the
future. ABTT is a great opportunity for direct contact with existing and potential new
customers, as well as introducing our latest line up of products into the UK market.
The show will be an important debut for the new amplifiers which have been
specifically designed to provide d&b solutions in permanent applications.’

d&b audiotechnik are a clear choice for many West End and Broadway sound
designers, on shows from Chicago to War Horse. Gareth Owens scooped Olivier
Awards for both Merrily We Roll Along at the Harold Pinter Theatre and Memphis at
Shaftesbury Theatre for sound designs based on d&b systems.
