Exterity solutions are used globally by organisations in the corporate and finance, education, hospitality and venues and stadium markets, and are pushing the envelope for more tightly integrated unified communications services.

Exterity showcased a number of innovative solutions at ISE 2018 including a new 4K media player, which integrates 4K video into digital signage, offering a complete end-to-end 4K Exterity IP video solution. In addition, the company demonstrated its brand new middleware portal ArtioGuest: built from the ground up. The new portal will focus initially on the hospitality market and provide an enhanced and intuitive in-room guest experience. Finally, the Exterity stand offered visitors a look at its enhancements and new features for the intuitive and user-friendly integrated digital signage and IP video solution, ArtioSign.

Ahead of the show, Colin Farquhar, CEO at Exterity, said: “For the AV/IT/IP convergence to truly happen, solutions need to be user-friendly, end-to-end and agile, but also robust and secure, and this is what we will be demonstrating at ISE on our stand. Visitors to our stand will be able to learn how they can use our solutions for any type of deployment – from large-scale banks to fragmented university campuses, boutique hotels and venues hosting a wide range of events. We are looking forward to discussing the direction the market is headed in and how we can support our current and prospective customers as they embrace IP delivery for all their visual communications needs.”

Speaking to Pro-Systems News at the show, Exterity’s head of marketing, Carolyn Baillie highlighted the growing need for digital signage solutions for the corporate sector and explained that the company’s innovative digital signage solutions are designed with the end user in mind.

“We are in the process of developing videos and support services that ensure that end users are able to manage their digital signage needs with minimal external help,” she states. The highly adaptable and user-friendly solutions provided by Exterity are currently being used by a number of high-profile corporations in South Africa, particularly in the banking and finance sector. Pro-Systems Africa News will be presenting South African case studies featuring Exterity solutions in the upcoming months.
