The recent New York Digital Signage week, held between 30 October and 3 November included events for retail, employee communications, smart cities, digital out of home and of course digital signage. The offered attendees a mix of free and paid-for events, including conferences, showcases, cocktails events, open houses, breakfast debates, tours and other ad-hoc activities.

The event was, once again, supported by major industry associations; thanks to the Advertising Research Foundation, the Digital Signage Federation, the DPAA, the OAAA and the SEGD as well as an impressive array of the big screen and LED manufacturers including; BARCO, Christie, Daktronics, LG, NEC Display Solutions and Samsung.
