Wild & Marr, in collaboration with Shure MEA,recently hosted an instructor-led technical certification training session on their Microflex Advance and Microflex Wireless product range in Johannesburg. This saw huge interest from Johannesburg’s leading integration solution companies including Omega Digital, Dimension Data, AVC and AE Solutions as well as some AV consultants.

For the first two days, the training covered theory and foundation skills.  This was  followed by physical set-up and commissioning as the program delved into the more technical side of things. Shure’s solution of MXA and MXW products are equally at home in the boardroom, conference room, auditorium and other applications- a true problem solver in all aspects.

Shure’s sales manager covering the Africa Region, Sujit Nagesh, provided some insight to the reason for the certification training, saying, “Globally, we have witnessed phenomenal sales for our Microflex Advance line of products since its launch a couple of years ago. To the extent that we are now leveraging that success in South Africa too with these products fast becoming a standard across meeting rooms of various corporates. Amidst this runaway success, what is not lost on us is the significance of conducting regular certification programs which empower our partners to be in a better position to tend to end client’s application needs in a manner that is in-line with Shure’s ethos.”

“The Microflex Advance Certification is one of Shure’s in-demand instructor-led courses focusing on how to meet challenging conference rooms of today. The two-day lecture is followed by an extensive hands-on session, making attendees experience first-hand how to design, configure and test their work before going out on the field,” said Shure’s technical support engineer Moswain Antao, who led the training.

“With the exponential advances in technology and ground-breaking products like the Shure MXA and MXW range, it is imperative that knowledge is gained and transferred not only within our organization but in those of our partners too. Wild & Marr is committed to ensuring that we and our customers keep pace with these changes in technology and the products we distribute. It is through training and certification programs like this recent Shure Microflex Advance Certification that we can ensure that our products are deployed to the highest standards possible,” concluded Wild & Marr’s sales director, Gary Furman.

The feedback from the trainees during and after the course indicated that it was a huge success. It is Wild & Marr’s aim to provide similar certification and training courses on a regular basis in the new year.
