Pro-Systems News and the team at Sun-Circle Publishers would like to extend our
heartfelt condolences to the victims of the recent Mandalay Bay attack, in which 59
festival goers lost their lives while attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas,
USA.
The incident has been declared the deadliest shooting in modern US history and is the
second attack at a live music event this year, following the notorious bombing of the
Manchester Arena during an Ariana Grande concert in May.
Quoting Billy Joel: “Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity.
It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves
music.’ With this in mind, it is particularly heinous to witness these acts of inexplicable
violence being perpetrated during live music events.
We raise our voices with artists, fans and people from across the entertainment industry
in condemning terrorism and random acts of violence in the strongest manner possible.
